This family-friendly event honors Hispanic heritage with an exciting lineup of entertainment and activities for all ages. Don’t miss the Midwest Youth Mariachi Competition, where talented groups from Colorado and Nebraska will take the stage and compete in a showcase of musical excellence. The day also features the Queen & Princess Coronation, a variety of craft and food vendors, a car show, a live band, and a soccer game for boys and young adults ages 15+, bringing the community together through friendly competition. Join us for a day filled with music, dancing, delicious food, and community pride!

The Midwest Youth Mariachi Competition celebrates the vibrant talent of young musicians from across the region!
This year, we’re excited to welcome Mariachi groups from high schools in Nebraska and Colorado as they showcase their skills and cultural pride. Performances will take place on Saturday, September 13, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, offering audiences a powerful and inspiring musical experience rooted in tradition.
High school Mariachi groups interested in participating must register using the form on the left or email their group information to info@lmca308.org. Once registered, participants will receive a follow-up email with competition guidelines and additional details. To help ease travel costs, gas vouchers will be provided to groups traveling from outside Lincoln County, Nebraska.
